About The Position

Prolific is seeking physicians for a remote, freelance, task-based paid research participation opportunity involving AI-related tasks. Physicians from any medical specialty may apply if they reside in the United States, hold a current U.S. medical license, and are willing to provide their National Provider Identifier (NPI) for credential verification. Eligible applicants may be invited to a dedicated Prolific workspace and, after verification, may be invited to complete training or a qualification assessment. Those who meet project requirements and pass the assessment may be invited to take on available tasks. This is not clinical employment or a salaried physician position. There are no guaranteed hours, task volume, or ongoing work. Participants can review each task’s details, estimated time, and confirmed pay before choosing whether to participate. Applying does not guarantee an assessment invitation, acceptance, or paid work.

Requirements

• Current residence in the United States.
• Registered physician status and a current U.S. medical license; physicians from any medical specialty are welcome.
• Willingness to provide an NPI and complete medical-credential verification during onboarding.
• Willingness to complete required training or a qualification assessment after verification.
• Access to a computer and a reliable internet connection.
• Ability to follow detailed online instructions.

Responsibilities

• Complete expert registration and medical-credential verification through Prolific’s onboarding process.
• Complete a training or qualification assessment if invited.
• If qualified and selected, apply medical expertise to paid research and AI-related tasks as they become available.
• Follow the instructions and confidentiality requirements provided for each task.
