Government Physician - AI Research Participants - United States (Remote)
About The Position
Prolific is seeking currently licensed U.S. physicians of any medical specialty to join its Expert Network for remote, freelance, task-based paid research and AI-related work. This is a research participation opportunity, not clinical employment or a salaried physician position. There are no guaranteed hours, task volume, or ongoing work. Eligible applicants may be invited to a dedicated Prolific workspace. Following medical-credential verification, participants may be invited to complete training or a qualification assessment. Physicians who meet project requirements and pass the assessment may be invited to apply their medical expertise to available project tasks. Participants can review each task’s details, estimated time, and confirmed pay before deciding whether to participate. The indicative rate is US$130 per hour for invited paid screening, with project task rates starting at US$216 per hour. These are task-based rates and do not guarantee earnings; invitations, assessment arrangements, project access, and task availability depend on eligibility and project requirements. Participation is remote and requires following task-specific instructions and confidentiality requirements. Applicants must not submit patient information.
Requirements
- Currently reside in the United States.
- Be a registered physician with a current U.S. medical license; physicians of any medical specialty may apply.
- Be willing to provide an NPI and complete medical-credential verification during onboarding.
- Be willing to complete the required training or qualification assessment after verification.
- Have access to a computer and a reliable internet connection.
- Be able to follow detailed online instructions.
Responsibilities
- Complete expert registration and medical-credential verification through Prolific’s onboarding process.
- Complete a training or qualification assessment if invited after verification.
- If qualified and selected, apply medical expertise to paid research and AI-related tasks as they become available.
- Follow the instructions and confidentiality requirements provided for each task.
