About The Position

Prolific is seeking registered physicians in the United States for a remote, freelance, task-based paid research participation opportunity. Physicians from any medical specialty may apply. Eligible applicants may be invited to a dedicated Prolific workspace and, after medical credentials are verified, may be invited to complete training or a qualification assessment. Physicians who meet project requirements and pass the assessment may be invited to participate in research and AI-related tasks as they become available. This is not clinical employment or a salaried physician position; hours, task volume, and ongoing work are not guaranteed. Participants can review each task’s details, estimated time, and confirmed pay before deciding whether to accept it. Indicative pay is US$130 per hour for invited paid screening, with project task rates starting at US$216 per hour, subject to task-specific confirmation and availability.

Requirements

• Currently reside in the United States.
• Be a registered physician with a current US medical license; any medical specialty is welcome.
• Be willing to provide an NPI and complete medical-credential verification during onboarding. An NPI alone does not establish physician or license eligibility.
• Be willing to complete required training or a qualification assessment after verification.
• Have access to a computer and reliable internet connection, and be able to follow detailed online instructions.

Responsibilities

• Complete expert registration and medical-credential verification through Prolific’s onboarding process.
• Complete a training or qualification assessment if invited.
• If qualified and selected, apply medical expertise to paid research and AI-related tasks as they become available.
• Follow the instructions and confidentiality requirements provided for each task.
