About The Position

Cedar Hill Regional Medical Center GW Health opened its doors in April 2025 as the first new full-service hospital in Washington, DC in more than 25 years! Integrating clinical care with existing community providers, Federally Qualified Health Centers (FQHC’s), The George Washington University Hospital, and our Urgent Care Center in Ward 8, this enhanced integrated delivery system will establish a robust network of care for all District residents, but more importantly, it will ensure residents of Wards 7 and 8 have access to high quality care in their community. Our advanced hospital will offer 136 beds (with the ability to expand to 184 beds), a verified trauma center, adult and pediatric emergency departments, maternal health and newborn delivery, an ambulatory pavilion for clinic visits and other outpatient services, onsite 550-car parking garage, and a helipad for emergency transport. We are seeking a Physical Therapy Tech (Full-Time) Our ideal candidate will fulfill the needs of patients, families, and community by performing a variety of patient care functions and tasks under the supervision of a licensed professional in accordance with regulatory requirements. Prepares patients and equipment for therapists and assist staff in administering services.

Requirements

  • High School diploma or equivalent.
  • At least 3 months of recent hospital, long-term care, or medical work experience, which provided knowledge of basic patient care activities.
  • Fundamental computer skills and keyboard familiarity.
  • Able to speak and write English Fluently.
  • Demonstrated communication, organization and critical thinking skills.
  • Knowledge of medical terminology.
