This is a full-time position with our Neurologic Physical Therapy Residency Program.

Requirements

  • Doctoral Degree from an accredited academic program in physical therapy or a Bachelor’s/Master’s Degree in physical therapy prior to 2016. If foreign trained, graduation from a physical therapy education program outside the US with educationally equivalent coursework accepted by Indiana PLA.
  • Current Physical Therapist license in the State of Indiana.
  • ABPTS specialist certification plus 1 year of experience, graduated from an accredited residency program in the defined area of specialty practice plus 1 year of experience or 5 years of experience in defined area of practice.
  • Basic Life Support certification through the AHA.
  • Advanced life support certifications may be required per unit/department specialty according to patient care policies.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with the rehabilitation services residency manager to ensure program compliance with accreditation standards for residency programs.
  • Assist in development of residency faculty, residency mentors, and residents.
  • Manage daily operations of the residency program.
  • Mentor program faculty and residents.
  • Demonstrate excellence in clinical practice.
  • Communicate effectively with rehabilitation leadership.
  • Facilitate interdisciplinary collaboration.
  • Effectively educate in a didactic learning environment.
