About The Position

The Residency Coordinator reports to the Director Clinical Practice and is responsible for fostering the enculturation of the nurse resident through delivery of onboarding programs and by promoting the resident-preceptor-manager triad. This role directs, coordinates, and delivers the educational components of the various nurse on-boarding programs. The coordinator partners with preceptors, unit-based educators, and unit leaders to identify opportunities for development and foster open communication to foster growth. Additionally, the role fosters relationships with resident TAM recruiters and local academic partners to strengthen academic-entity relationships.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree of Science of Nursing from an accredited school of nursing
  • 2 years of nursing experience in a hospital (inpatient roles) or clinical (outpatient roles) setting
  • 1 year in delivering training to clinical staff/students
  • RN - Registered Nurse - Georgia State Licensure and/or NLC/eNCL Multistate Licensure
