About The Position

This is a travel assignment for a Physical Therapy Assistant in Home Health in Pullman, Washington. The assignment begins on 08/24/2026 and lasts for 14 weeks, with guaranteed 40 hours per week on an 8-hour shift. The work setting is home health within an inpatient care context, and the role is under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist.

Requirements

Active Washington state license to practice Physical Therapy Assistant; current licensure required.
CPR certification current and on file.
Valid driver's license and reliable transportation with adequate insurance.
Minimum 2 years of Physical Therapy Assistant experience.
Associate Degree in Physical Therapy Assistant from an accredited program.
Must read, write and speak fluent English; ability to travel locally as needed; capable of working in an inpatient care-adjacent setting.

Responsibilities

Administer the physical therapy treatment plan as developed by the supervising Physical Therapist.
Deliver non-complex active and passive manual therapies, therapeutic massage, and select modalities as appropriate.
Document patient status accurately on daily/weekly/monthly records and submit clinical paperwork in a timely manner.
Attend educational meetings and contribute to department in-services; communicate patient status and changes as needed.
Report equipment issues, supply shortages, and any changes affecting patient care to the supervising PT or Clinical Manager; participate in scheduling and related office tasks as assigned.
Apply infection control practices and universal precautions to patient care activities; accept assignments consistent with education and competence.
