About The Position
PruittHealth is hiring a Physical Therapy Assistant to support therapy services and provide care to residents. The role assists with carrying out physical therapy care plans and treatments prescribed by the evaluating therapist and physician, in accordance with applicable State Practice Acts. Requirements
- Hold a valid professional license in the state of practice.
- Graduate from a CAPTE-accredited school. For foreign-trained applicants, the program must be deemed substantially equivalent to U.S. entry-level physical therapist education by an APTA-approved credential evaluation organization.
Responsibilities
- Assist in executing the physical therapy care plan and treatments prescribed by the evaluating therapist and physician, according to State Practice Acts.
- Complete clinical tasks, communication, and documentation accurately and on time, in accordance with policy.
- Follow established policies and procedures related to the scope of practice.
- Recognize and respond to priorities in patient care.
- Complete required orientation, in-services, and training on time and successfully.
- Perform other related duties as necessary and as directed by the supervisor.
