Requirements

Hold a valid professional license in the state of practice.
Graduate from a CAPTE-accredited school. For foreign-trained applicants, the program must be deemed substantially equivalent to U.S. entry-level physical therapist education by an APTA-approved credential evaluation organization.

Responsibilities

Assist with executing physical therapy care plans and treatments as prescribed by the evaluating therapist and physician, in accordance with State Practice Acts.
Perform clinical tasks, communication, and documentation accurately and on time according to policy.
Follow established policies and procedures related to scope of practice.
Recognize and respond to priorities in patient care.
Complete required orientation, in-services, and training promptly and successfully.
Perform other related duties as necessary and as directed by a supervisor.
