About The Position

PruittHealth is hiring a licensed Physical Therapist to provide rehabilitation services in a skilled nursing facility. The role focuses on helping patients restore mobility, improve physical function, and achieve greater independence. The therapist evaluates patients with orthopedic, neurological, and mobility-related conditions; develops individualized treatment plans; monitors progress and adjusts interventions; and documents care accurately. The position also involves collaborating with physicians, nurses, therapists, and caregivers, and educating patients and families about rehabilitation goals and home exercise programs. Compensation is up to $130,000 annually, based on experience, schedule, and location. New graduates are welcome where applicable.

Requirements

Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapy program.
Current Physical Therapist (PT) license in the state of practice.
Strong clinical, communication, and documentation skills.
Foreign-trained applicants must possess credentials deemed substantially equivalent by the applicable credentialing organization.

Nice To Haves

Experience in skilled nursing, rehabilitation, home health, or post-acute care is preferred.
New graduates are welcome where applicable.

Responsibilities

Evaluate patients with orthopedic, neurological, and mobility-related conditions.

Improve patients’ strength, balance, gait, endurance, and overall functional mobility.
Monitor patient progress and modify interventions as needed.
Complete timely and accurate clinical documentation.
