About The Position
PruittHealth is seeking a licensed Occupational Therapist to help patients regain independence, improve daily living skills, and maximize quality of life. The role is based at a skilled nursing facility in Rome and is scheduled PRN. Compensation is up to $130,000 annually, based on experience, schedule, and location. The Occupational Therapist evaluates patients’ functional abilities, develops treatment plans, recommends adaptive equipment and environmental modifications, and works with patients and caregivers to support success in daily activities. Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy program.
- Current Occupational Therapist license in the state of practice.
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
- Foreign-trained applicants must possess credentials deemed substantially equivalent by the applicable credentialing organization.
Nice To Haves
- NBCOT certification preferred.
- Experience in rehabilitation, SNF, home health, or post-acute care preferred.
Responsibilities
- Evaluate patients' ability to perform activities of daily living (ADLs).
- Develop treatment plans that enhance independence and functional performance.
- Recommend adaptive equipment and environmental modifications.
- Address cognitive, physical, and sensory limitations impacting daily function.
- Document patient progress and treatment outcomes.
