About The Position
PruittHealth is seeking a licensed Physical Therapist to help patients restore mobility, improve function, and achieve greater independence. The role is based at 1371 W. Nine Mile Road in Pensacola, Florida, and supports post-acute care, skilled nursing, rehabilitation, and therapy services. Compensation is up to $130,000 annually, based on experience, schedule, and location. Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapy program.
- Current Physical Therapist (PT) license in the state of practice.
- Strong clinical, communication, and documentation skills.
- Foreign-trained applicants must possess credentials deemed substantially equivalent by the applicable credentialing organization.
Nice To Haves
- Experience in skilled nursing, rehabilitation, home health, or post-acute care is preferred.
- New graduates are welcome where applicable.
Responsibilities
- Evaluate patients with orthopedic, neurological, and mobility-related conditions.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans.
- Improve patients’ strength, balance, gait, endurance, and overall functional mobility.
- Monitor patient progress and modify interventions as needed.
- Complete timely and accurate clinical documentation.
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, therapists, and caregivers.
- Educate patients and families on rehabilitation goals and home exercise programs.
