About The Position
ClearSky is hiring a PRN Physical Therapy Assistant in Avondale, Arizona. The role works day shifts as needed and is part of a collaborative, patient-focused care team. Under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist, the Physical Therapy Assistant helps patients restore function, improve mobility, relieve pain, and enhance quality of life. The position supports clinical excellence and high-quality patient care in a rehabilitation setting.
Requirements
- Graduate from an accredited Physical Therapy Assistant program.
- Current state licensure as a Physical Therapy Assistant.
- BLS/CPR certification.
- Ability to perform significant standing, walking, bending, squatting, reaching, lifting, pushing, and pulling, often for prolonged periods.
- Ability to lift or exert up to 50 pounds.
- Gross and precise motor function, visual acuity for patient assessment and documentation, acute hearing for patient assessment, and sufficient manual dexterity to operate equipment and a computer keyboard.
Nice To Haves
- One year of direct patient care experience in a rehabilitation hospital; new graduates are encouraged to apply.
Responsibilities
- Provide direct physical therapy interventions to support patient recovery and outcomes.
- Assist with treatment planning, documentation, and communication of patient progress.
- Collaborate with patients and the care team to deliver compassionate, patient-centered care.
