About The Position
We are seeking a motivated Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) to join a growing multidisciplinary practice in West Valley, Salt Lake County, Utah. The PTA will provide hands-on patient care and work collaboratively with experienced Physical Therapists, physicians, chiropractors, advanced practice providers, and support staff to help patients improve mobility, function, and quality of life. The position is full-time, Monday through Friday, with Fridays ending at noon. Annual salary is $60,000–$73,000, based on experience.
Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program.
- Active Utah PTA license.
- Dependable, motivated, and team-oriented.
Responsibilities
- Assist the Physical Therapist with therapeutic exercises and treatment modalities.
- Guide patients through prescribed rehabilitation programs.
- Educate patients on exercises, lifestyle modifications, and their plan of care.
- Monitor patient progress and communicate changes to the supervising Physical Therapist.
- Collaborate with the multidisciplinary healthcare team.
- Complete timely and accurate EHR documentation.
