About The Position

We are seeking a dedicated Physical Therapy Assistant to provide therapeutic services in settings such as acute care environments and outpatient facilities. The role supports patients through recovery and rehabilitation, working closely with licensed physical therapists to implement treatment plans, assist with exercises, and monitor patient progress.

Requirements

• High school education, GED, or equivalent is required.
• Physical Therapy Assistant licensure in all applicable states of practice is required.
• CPR or BLS certification from an approved vendor, per policy, is required.
• A valid driver's license and age 21 or older are required.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively as part of a healthcare team.
• Excellent time management and organizational abilities.
• Compassionate, patient-centered approach to care.

Nice To Haves

• Associate's or technical degree, or an equivalent combination of education and related experience.
• Two years of technical experience.
• Experience in therapy in acute care environments, acute therapy units, or outpatient settings.

Responsibilities

• Assist in administering physical therapy treatments as directed.
• Help patients with mobility and exercise routines.
• Document patient progress and report it to the supervising therapist.
• Ensure a safe and clean treatment environment.
