Floating Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) - Full Time
About The Position
Preferred Therapy Solutions is hiring a full-time floating Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) to serve multiple senior living communities throughout the Bangor region. The position works in assisted living, independent living, and memory care settings, as well as in patients’ homes. The successful candidate will provide comprehensive, compassionate therapy services and collaborate with rehabilitation therapists and nursing staff. A $5,000 sign-on bonus is offered. The rate range is $30–$35 per hour. Preferred Therapy Solutions is owned and operated by therapists and emphasizes appropriate, ethical patient care, quality outcomes, and helping patients reach their highest level of independence. The company offers support from a continuing education department and mentorship programs for therapists interested in developing their skills or pursuing management opportunities.
Requirements
- Possess a current PTA license or be eligible for licensure to practice in the state of employment.
- Demonstrate strong computer skills, including Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel, and experience with electronic documentation.
- Demonstrate attention to detail and timely completion of documentation.
- Work well with others in a team setting.
- Be flexible with hours.
