About The Position

Avante at Orlando Skilled Nursing and Rehabilitation Center is seeking a PRN Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) to provide physical therapy services to patients. The role assists with assessment, treatment, program planning and implementation, related documentation, and communication, and functions under the supervision of a Physical Therapist. The position is based at the skilled nursing and rehabilitation center in Orlando, Florida. It requires completion of background screening through the Agency for Health Care Administration (AHCA) Care Provider Background Screening Clearinghouse. Requirements

Associate’s degree in physical therapy from an accredited program.
Successful completion of the National Certification for P.T.A.
Current state licensure or eligibility for licensure.
Ability to carry out treatment plans as designed by a supervising therapist.
Ability to document daily care according to established guidelines.
Ability to effectively communicate treatment responses to residents, family members, and other team members.
0–3 years of long-term care experience.
Successful completion of background screening through the AHCA Care Provider Background Screening Clearinghouse.

Responsibilities
