About The Position

The Physical Therapy Assistant provides and directs physical therapy services to patients, including screening, assessment, treatment, program planning, and implementation. The role functions under physicians’ orders and follows applicable physical therapy principles and practices, community policies and procedures, and state regulations. The position is full-time, with starting pay of $30.00 per hour, at Freedom Pointe at The Villages.

Requirements

• Associate degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program.
• Successful completion of the National Certification Examination for Registered Physical Therapist.
• Valid state license in the practicing state.

Nice To Haves

• Previous physical therapy experience preferred.
