About The Position

MPOWER is seeking a motivated, dependable, and patient-focused Physical Therapy Technician to work at its Franklin, Tennessee clinic. The role offers hands-on experience in an outpatient therapy setting, working alongside licensed therapists and supporting patients throughout rehabilitation. The technician assists with therapeutic exercises, patient care, and clinic operations under the direction of the supervising therapist.

Requirements

• Ability to manage multiple tasks.
• Basic knowledge of exercise physiology, biomechanics, and exercise techniques.
• Working knowledge of basic anatomy.
• Successfully complete the MPOWER Tech Training manual and exam after training.
• Comfortably and effectively use MS Office programs, including MS Word, MS Excel, and MS Outlook.
• Ability to work with Practice Management software as required after training.
• Good communication skills and ability to perform patient education duties.

Nice To Haves

• A bachelor’s degree.
• Training or experience in orthopedic care.

Responsibilities

• Assist licensed therapists with therapeutic exercises and patient care activities.
• Provide appropriate exercise guidance and cueing under the direction of the supervising therapist.
• Administer appropriate therapeutic modalities as directed.
• Help patients move safely throughout the clinic, including assisting with transfers and transportation to treatment areas.
• Communicate patient progress, questions, and concerns to the supervising therapist.
• Assist with patient scheduling, appointment reminders, cancellations, and no-show follow-up.
• Help maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming clinic environment.
• Assist front desk staff with administrative tasks as needed.
• Support the Clinic Manager and Lead Therapy Technician with assigned projects.
