About The Position

BAYADA Home Health Care is seeking an experienced Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) for home health visits through its Fayetteville Visits office. The role serves adult and geriatric patients on a per-visit basis in territories throughout Cumberland County. The PTA helps clients attain or maintain optimal physical well-being by providing treatment, tests, client education, and appropriate interventions delegated by a licensed Physical Therapist. The posting offers full-time, part-time, or per-diem opportunities.

Requirements

Current licensure or certification in North Carolina.
Graduation from a two-year college-level program approved by the American Physical Therapy Association, as evidenced by a school transcript or diploma; alternatively, two years of appropriate PTA experience and a satisfactory proficiency exam conducted, approved, or sponsored by the U.S. Public Health Service, if initially qualified before December 31, 1977.
At least one year of work experience under the supervision of a qualified Physical Therapist.

Responsibilities

Provide home health visits to adult and geriatric patients throughout Cumberland County.
Assist clients in attaining or maintaining optimal physical well-being.
Provide treatment, tests, client education, and appropriate interventions as delegated by a licensed Physical Therapist.
Perform other activities as requested.
