About The Position

Join a collaborative team dedicated to exceptional patient care while gaining healthcare skills and hands-on exposure to physical therapy. The Physical Therapy Aide works alongside Physical and Occupational Therapy professionals to support patients’ recovery. The role includes hands-on training and mentorship.

Requirements

High school diploma.
Must be at least 18 years old.
Healthcare and/or customer service experience.

Nice To Haves

Healthcare experience, such as Physical Therapist Aide or Technician, Medical Assistant, hospital employment, chiropractic, fitness industry, or PT and PTA student experience.
Certified Personal Trainer experience.
Experience or education in Health Services, Exercise Science, or Kinesiology.

Responsibilities

Greet and interact warmly with patients by phone and in person during check-in and throughout appointments.
Support efficient patient intake and registration, and assist clinicians with timely scheduling.
Onboard new patients by reviewing paperwork, verifying benefits, and completing medical forms.
Prepare and clean treatment areas and set up and adjust exercise equipment for Physical Therapists.
Monitor patient progress and provide feedback to the therapy team.
Assist patients with exercises and support their prescribed home exercise programs.
