About The Position

Join a collaborative team dedicated to exceptional patient care as a Physical Therapy Aide. The role supports patient recovery while providing hands-on training, mentorship, and direct exposure to physical therapy. You will work alongside experts in Physical and Occupational Therapy and help create an efficient, welcoming patient experience.

Requirements

High school diploma.
Must be at least 18 years old.
Healthcare and/or customer service experience.

Nice To Haves

Healthcare experience, such as Physical Therapist Aide/Technician, Medical Assistant, hospital employment, chiropractic, fitness industry, or PT and PTA student experience.
Certified Personal Trainer experience.
Experience or education in Health Services, Exercise Science, or Kinesiology.

Responsibilities

Greet and interact warmly with patients by phone and in person during check-in and throughout appointments.
Support efficient patient intake and registration, and assist clinicians with timely scheduling.
Onboard new patients by reviewing paperwork, verifying benefits, and completing medical forms.
Prepare and clean treatment areas and set up and adjust exercise equipment in support of Physical Therapists.
Monitor patient progress and provide feedback to the therapy team.
Assist patients with exercises and support their prescribed home exercise programs.
