About The Position

Join a collaborative team dedicated to exceptional patient care while gaining healthcare skills and direct exposure to physical therapy. Work alongside Physical and Occupational Therapy experts in support of patients’ recovery. The position includes hands-on training and mentorship.

The role supports patient intake and registration, clinic scheduling, and clinician workflows. It also assists with treatment-area preparation and cleaning, exercise equipment setup and adjustment, patient exercises, and prescribed home exercise programs. The aide monitors patient progress and shares feedback with the therapy team.

Requirements

• High school diploma.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Healthcare and/or customer service experience.

Nice To Haves

• Healthcare experience, such as work as a Physical Therapist Aide/Technician or Medical Assistant, hospital employment, chiropractic experience, fitness industry experience, or PT or PTA student experience.
• Certified Personal Trainer experience.
• Experience or education in Health Services, Exercise Science, or Kinesiology.

Responsibilities

• Greet and interact warmly with patients by phone and in person during check-in and throughout appointments.
• Promote an efficient patient intake and registration process and assist clinicians with timely scheduling.
• Onboard new patients by reviewing relevant paperwork, verifying benefits, and completing medical forms.
• Prepare and clean treatment areas and set up and adjust exercise equipment for Physical Therapists.
• Monitor patient progress and provide feedback to the therapy team.
• Assist patients in performing exercises and support their prescribed home exercise programs.
