About The Position

A busy, full-service medical center in Southern Oregon is hiring Physical Therapists for its outpatient and lymphedema team. The position involves evaluating and treating a wide range of diagnoses, developing individualized plans of care, and helping patients regain function and independence. There is opportunity to deepen lymphedema and complex decongestive therapy skills. This is a full-time, permanent, direct-hire position with a weekday day schedule and no nights.

Requirements

• BS, MPT/MSPT, or DPT from an accredited Physical Therapy program.
• Oregon Physical Therapist license, or a Washington license with Oregon licensure by hire.
• Current American Heart Association BLS (Healthcare Provider).

Nice To Haves

• Outpatient experience is preferred.
• Lymphedema certification (CLT) or training is a plus.
• New graduates with a strong interest in outpatient care are welcome to apply.

Responsibilities

• Perform outpatient physical therapy evaluations and develop individualized, goal-based treatment plans.
• Treat a broad caseload that includes orthopedic, neurologic, and post-surgical patients, as well as patients with lymphedema.
• Deliver manual therapy, therapeutic exercise, compression, and lymphedema management techniques.
• Adapt care to each patient's age, physical needs, and functional needs.
• Educate patients and families on home exercise programs and self-management.
• Consult with physicians and the rehabilitation team.
• Document care accurately in the EHR.
