About The Position

The Outpatient Lymphedema Physical Therapist works at AdventHealth Sports Medicine and Rehab in Lake Mary, Florida. The role includes performing patient evaluations and re-evaluations, documenting and charging accurately and promptly, and contributing to referral relationships and community education. The position is full-time, with a day schedule of four 10-hour shifts: Tuesday through Thursday from 7:30 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. and Friday from 7:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., with Mondays off. The anticipated minimum pay rate is $35 per hour; the stated pay range is $66,268.80–$123,281.60. Sign-on and relocation bonuses may be available up to $10,000 and $3,000, respectively.

Requirements

Required: Basic Life Support (BLS) CPR certification.
Required: Physical Therapist (PT) license or Physical Therapist - Temporary (PT-TEMP) credential.
Must have the education level required by the relevant licensing or certification standards to obtain and maintain the required license or certification.

Nice To Haves

Doctorate in Physical Therapy preferred.

Responsibilities

Document and charge accurately, completely, and promptly using measurable, objective terminology and following standards of practice, insurance guidelines, and department and hospital policies and procedures.
Perform evaluations and re-evaluations using recommended techniques and standards.
Participate in marketing to physicians and physician practices to build referral relationships.
Support consumer marketing and public awareness by participating in community events, educational lectures or speaking engagements, and other opportunities to share clinical expertise with the community.
Adapt to changes in patient census by altering working hours to assist in other centers and programs, as approved and observed by the manager or director.
