About The Position
A busy, full-service medical center in Southern Oregon is hiring Physical Therapists for its outpatient and lymphedema team. The role involves evaluating and treating a varied caseload, developing individualized plans of care, and helping patients regain function and independence. Clinicians can deepen their lymphedema and complex decongestive therapy skills. The position has a steady weekday day schedule and is full-time, permanent, and direct hire.
Requirements
- Bachelor of Science, MPT/MSPT, or DPT from an accredited Physical Therapy program.
- Oregon Physical Therapist license, or Washington license with Oregon licensure by hire.
- Current American Heart Association BLS (Healthcare Provider).
Nice To Haves
- Outpatient experience is preferred.
- Lymphedema certification (CLT) or training is a plus.
- New graduates with a strong interest in outpatient care are welcome to apply.
Responsibilities
- Perform outpatient physical therapy evaluations and develop individualized, goal-based treatment plans.
- Treat orthopedic, neurologic, post-surgical, and lymphedema patients.
- Deliver manual therapy, therapeutic exercise, compression, and lymphedema management techniques.
- Adapt care to each patient's age, physical needs, and functional needs.
- Educate patients and families on home exercise programs and self-management.
- Consult with physicians and the rehabilitation team.
- Document care accurately in the EHR.
