About The Position
Thompson Health is seeking a Physical Therapist with a neurology specialty to join their cohesive interdisciplinary team. This per diem position focuses on spine and neuro patients, with most clients presenting with spine and gait/balance issues, and approximately 25% with neurological conditions. The role involves evaluating and treating individuals with Neurological and Spinal conditions in an outpatient setting, with documentation in accordance with state, federal, JCAHO, and insurance guidelines.
Requirements
- Valid NYS licensure to practice Physical Therapy
- Degree in Physical Therapy from CAPTE approved program, DPT preferred
- Team player and self-motivated
- Experience with EMR
Nice To Haves
- Prior experience in outpatient care setting preferred
- Spine and Neuro experience preferred
- NCS certifications a plus
- Experience or interest in neurological patients desired.
Responsibilities
- Evaluate and treat in outpatient setting.
- Documentation in accordance with state, federal, JCAHO and insurance guidelines as a per diem
- Provide skilled outpatient Physical Therapy for Neurological and Spinal conditions including evaluation, developing and implementing treatment programs.
