About The Position
Thompson Health is seeking a Physical Therapist with a focus on spine and neuro to join their cohesive interdisciplinary team. This role involves evaluating and treating individuals with Neurological and Spinal conditions in an outpatient setting. The majority of clients present with spine and gait/balance issues, with approximately 25% having neurological conditions. The position is full-time, with a schedule that includes days and evenings.
Requirements
- Valid NYS licensure to practice Physical Therapy
- Degree in Physical Therapy from CAPTE approved program, DPT preferred
- Experience with EMR
- Team player and self-motivated
Nice To Haves
- Prior experience in outpatient care setting preferred
- Spine and Neuro experience preferred
- NCS certifications a plus
- Experience or interest in neurological patients desired.
Responsibilities
- Evaluate and treat in outpatient setting.
- Documentation in accordance with state, federal, JCAHO and insurance guidelines as a per diem.
- Provide skilled outpatient Physical Therapy for Neurological and Spinal conditions including evaluation, developing and implementing treatment programs.
