Thompson Health is seeking a per diem Physical Therapist with a neurology specialty to join their cohesive interdisciplinary team. This position focuses on spine and neuro patients, with most clients presenting with spine and gait/balance issues, and approximately 25% with neurological conditions. Requirements
- Valid NYS licensure to practice Physical Therapy
- Degree in Physical Therapy from CAPTE approved program
- Experience with EMR
- Team player and self-motivated
Nice To Haves
- DPT preferred
- Prior experience in outpatient care setting preferred
- Spine and Neuro experience preferred
- NCS certifications a plus
- Experience or interest in neurological patients desired
Responsibilities
- Evaluate and treat individuals with Neurological and Spinal conditions in an outpatient setting.
- Provide skilled outpatient Physical Therapy for Neurological and Spinal conditions, including evaluation, developing, and implementing treatment programs.
- Documentation in accordance with state, federal, JCAHO, and insurance guidelines.
