About The Position
Thompson Health is seeking a Physical Therapist with a specialty in Neurology to join their cohesive interdisciplinary team. This is a general Physical Therapist position with a focus on spine and neuro patients. The majority of clients present with spine and gait/balance issues, while approximately 25% have neurological conditions. The role emphasizes evaluation and treatment of individuals with Neurological and Spinal conditions in an outpatient setting.
Requirements
- Valid NYS licensure to practice Physical Therapy
- Degree in Physical Therapy from CAPTE approved program, DPT preferred
- Experience with EMR
- Team player and self-motivated
- Experience or interest in neurological patients desired.
Nice To Haves
- Prior experience in outpatient care setting preferred
- Spine and Neuro experience preferred
- NCS certifications a plus
Responsibilities
- Evaluate and treat patients in an outpatient setting.
- Provide skilled outpatient Physical Therapy for Neurological and Spinal conditions, including evaluation, developing, and implementing treatment programs.
- Documentation in accordance with state, federal, JCAHO, and insurance guidelines as a per diem.
