Working alongside physical, occupational, and speech therapy colleagues, you'll help patients overcome orthopedic injuries, manage chronic pain, improve functional mobility, and navigate neurological conditions, including Parkinson's disease. Requirements
- Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree from a CAPTE-accredited program.
- Current Kentucky Physical Therapist license or eligibility for licensure.
- CPR certification, where applicable.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Commitment to providing high-quality, patient-centered care.
- New graduates are encouraged to apply.
Responsibilities
- Evaluate patients and develop individualized plans of care.
- Provide evidence-based physical therapy interventions to improve mobility, function, strength, and quality of life.
- Treat a variety of orthopedic and musculoskeletal conditions, including post-operative rehabilitation and movement dysfunctions.
- Collaborate with Physical Therapist Assistants and support team members to support strong patient outcomes.
- Educate patients and caregivers on treatment plans, home exercise programs, and injury prevention strategies.
- Accurately document patient evaluations, treatment progression, and outcomes.
- Build meaningful patient relationships while delivering compassionate, patient-centered care.
