About The Position

HealthPro Heritage is hiring a part-time Physical Therapist for an Assisted Living & Memory Care community in Quincy, Massachusetts. The role provides outpatient therapy in a long-term care community as part of an established, supportive rehabilitation team. The therapist will help residents maintain or improve their independence in a collaborative environment focused on quality patient care and strong relationships with residents.

The position pays $57–$61 per hour based on experience and offers a $1,500 sign-on bonus. Requirements

• Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution.
• Valid state licensure as a Physical Therapist, or eligibility to obtain a license.
• Strong clinical assessment and diagnostic skills.
• Proficiency in developing and implementing effective treatment plans.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a patient-centered approach.
• Ability to lift and assist patients as needed.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physical tasks related to therapy.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate patients' physical conditions, including mobility, strength, and flexibility.
• Provide therapeutic exercises, manual therapy, and other treatments to improve functionality and alleviate pain.
• Educate patients and families on exercises, posture, body mechanics, home routines, and lifestyle changes to support recovery and prevent injuries.
• Maintain accurate records of evaluations, progress, and treatment plans in compliance with legal and ethical standards.
• Collaborate with healthcare providers to support effective patient care.
• Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings as needed.
