About The Position
The Physical Therapist (PT) will be responsible for planning and implementing specific evaluation and treatment programs based on the patient’s physical, developmental, and psychosocial needs. This role involves conducting comprehensive evaluations, implementing therapeutic interventions, educating patients and caregivers, and completing documentation in a timely manner. The PT will also engage in continuing education and provide supervision for students.
Requirements
- Current Physical Therapy License (Eligible for licensure in Missouri or currently licensed in Missouri)
- BLS Certification from AHA only
- Minimum of 1 year of Physical Therapy experience

Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive evaluations including medical history, subjective findings, motor and sensory function assessments, functional mobility, gait, and endurance.
- Develop patient-centered, function-focused, measurable goals.
- Implement therapeutic interventions to address functional, psychosocial, and educational needs.
- Utilize various modalities such as ultrasound, electrical stimulation, and manual therapy.
- Document treatment and collaborate effectively with interdisciplinary teams.
- Educate patients and caregivers on home programs and equipment use.
- Recommend follow-up care as needed.
- Complete all documentation in a timely and thorough manner following regulatory guidelines.
- Adhere to service techniques to maintain positive relationships with patients and team members.
- Engage in continuing education and provide supervision for students during clinical rotations.
