About The Position

This position requires a skilled X-ray Technician with experience in an acute care setting. The role involves providing diagnostic imaging services and requires flexibility in scheduling, including potential weekend and holiday coverage. The technician must be proficient in various imaging procedures and possess strong communication and customer service skills.

Requirements

• Graduate of an education program accredited by the Joint Review Committee on Education in Radiologic Technology (JRCERT) or equivalent military training.
• Associate's Degree in Radiologic Technology from an accredited college.
• 2 years minimum experience in an acute care setting.
• Currently registered as R.T.(R)(ARRT) or registry-eligible with R.T.(R)(ARRT) within 6 months of hire.
• Current licensure as a Radiologic Technologist in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts.
• BLS certification.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Computer proficiency including PACS and HIS/RIS.
• Ability to read, write, and communicate in English.
• Ability to maintain confidential information.
