Physical Therapist - PT - Pelvic Health Specialty
About The Position
The Physical Therapist renders physical therapy evaluations and treatment procedures and techniques appropriate to individual patient needs, assessing, treating, and caring for patients of all ages. The role is based at Geisinger Medical Clinic Lock Haven and is scheduled for 40 hours per week on the day shift. Work is typically performed in a clinical environment. The position includes evaluating patients, setting measurable treatment goals, developing and administering treatment plans, planning for discharge, completing required patient-care documentation, promoting safety, and participating responsibly in departmental and interdepartmental operations. Employees must satisfy job-specific obligations and comply with organizational policies and procedures. Department-specific orientation competencies and skills are considered essential to the role.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy.
- Pennsylvania state license as a Physical Therapist.
- Basic Life Support certification within 30 days.
- At least 2 years of related work experience (preferred).

Responsibilities
- Perform physical therapy evaluations according to departmental policy and individual patient needs.
- Establish appropriate measurable treatment goals and develop treatment plans.
- Administer an appropriate and effective physical therapy treatment program.
- Perform discharge planning responsibilities efficiently and effectively.
- Complete documentation pertinent to patient care legibly and in compliance with departmental policy.
- Promote and assure patient, employee, and visitor safety.
- Participate responsibly in departmental and interdepartmental operations to foster and maintain an efficient working environment.
- Assess, treat, and care for patients of all ages.
