About The Position
A full-time Physical Therapist is sought for a skilled nursing facility in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. The role involves helping patients improve strength, mobility, and functional independence through evaluation, individualized treatment, and ongoing progress documentation. The therapist will work collaboratively with an interdisciplinary rehabilitation team in a supportive facility environment. New graduates and experienced professionals are welcome. This is a direct-hire, permanent-placement position with an estimated rate of $40–$52 per hour, depending on experience, setting, location, and status.
Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapy program.
- Current Pennsylvania license or eligibility to obtain one.
- Strong communication skills.
- Strong time-management skills.
Responsibilities
- Evaluate and treat patients to improve strength, mobility, and functional independence.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans.
- Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team.
- Document patient progress using EMR systems.
- Maintain compliance with state and federal regulations.
