About The Position

PAM Health is seeking a full-time Physical Therapist to provide rehabilitation care to a diverse patient population at its Orange City rehabilitation hospital. The role consists of three weekday shifts and shifts on Saturday and Sunday. The therapist manages patients and delivers, directs, and supervises care in an age-appropriate manner, consistent with the applicable state Physical Therapy Practice Act, professional ethics, and PAM Health policies and procedures. The ideal candidate has inpatient hospital experience or a commitment to learning in that setting. Therapists work with patients from admission through discharge, follow their rehabilitation progress, and may participate in disease-specific programs.

Requirements

• A Physical Therapist license in the state where the hospital or clinic is located.
• Current BLS certification.
• Prior inpatient hospital experience or a desire and commitment to learn.

Nice To Haves

• One year of clinical experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage patients and patient care.
• Deliver, direct, and supervise physical therapy care in an age-appropriate manner and in accordance with the applicable state Physical Therapy Practice Act, professional code of ethics, and PAM Health policies, procedures, and guidelines.
• Perform other related duties as assigned or requested.
