Physical Therapist (PT) - FT | Aiken Rehab
About The Position
PAM Health is hiring a full-time Physical Therapist for its new rehabilitation hospital in Aiken. The therapist will care for a diverse patient population, including chronically and critically ill patients who require extended hospital care. The role involves patient management and delivery, direction, and supervision of care in an age-appropriate manner, consistent with applicable state law, professional ethics, and PAM Health policies and procedures. Prior inpatient hospital experience is welcomed, as is a commitment to learn. The position also includes performing other related duties as assigned or requested.
Requirements
- Physical Therapist license in the state where the hospital or clinic resides.
- Current BLS certification.
- Prior inpatient hospital experience or a desire and commitment to learn.
Nice To Haves
- One year of clinical experience is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Manage patients and direct, deliver, and supervise patient care in an age-appropriate manner.
- Follow the Physical Therapy Practice Act of the state where the hospital or clinic resides, the professional code of ethics, and PAM Health policies, procedures, and guidelines.
- Perform other related duties as assigned or requested.
