About The Position
PAM Health is hiring a Physical Therapist for its new Aiken rehabilitation hospital, which is opening this fall. The role provides care to a diverse patient population, including chronically and critically ill patients who require extended hospital care. Candidates should have prior inpatient hospital experience or a desire and commitment to learn. The Physical Therapist is responsible for patient management and the delivery, direction, and supervision of care in an age-appropriate manner. Care must be consistent with the applicable state Physical Therapy Practice Act, professional code of ethics, and PAM Health policies, procedures, and guidelines. Other related duties may be assigned or requested.
Requirements
- PT license in the state where the hospital or clinic resides.
- Current BLS certification.
Nice To Haves
- One year of clinical experience is preferred.
- Prior inpatient hospital experience, or a desire and commitment to learn.
Responsibilities
- Manage patients and provide care in an age-appropriate manner.
- Deliver, direct, and supervise physical therapy care in accordance with the applicable state Physical Therapy Practice Act, professional code of ethics, and PAM Health policies, procedures, and guidelines.
- Perform other related duties as assigned or requested.
