About The Position

Under the direction of a physician order, the Physical Therapist plans and implements physical and occupational therapy evaluation and treatment programs based on patients’ physical, developmental, and psychosocial needs. The role provides advisory services to other team members to support quality patient care and functions under the direct supervision of the Director and Assistant Director. Performs related duties as assigned.

The position is with Mercy Therapy Services at the East Facility in Rolla, in the Physical Therapy unit. The schedule is five 8-hour shifts, totaling 40 hours.

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited B.S. degree program in Physical Therapy and pass the national registration exam.
• Hold current licensure in the State of Missouri.
• Have a current American Heart Association Healthcare Provider Card or complete a course within the probation period.
• Have general knowledge of evaluation and treatment principles for a diverse number and types of diagnoses.
• Demonstrate competency in equipment used for delivery of modalities.
• The posting states experience is not required, but also lists 1+ years of experience and “Years Experience 1 year.”
• BCPR certification is required.
