About The Position
Sutton Park Center is hiring Physical Therapists for full-time and per diem opportunities. The role involves working collaboratively with therapy teams, evaluating patients, documenting care, and providing therapy according to treatment plans and prescriptions. Therapists manage their own workflow, including treatment time and documentation in the electronic records system, and align treatment plans with an understanding of Medicaid and Medicare billing and PDPM. The position is in person. The listed pay is $46.00–$58.00 per hour, with pay differing between per diem and full-time roles.
Requirements
- New York license.
- Strong organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills.
- Ability to manage patients with different types of personalities and ability levels.
- Creative problem-solving skills.
- PT license.
Responsibilities
- Work collaboratively with all therapy teams.
- Complete evaluations and necessary documentation.
- Provide recommendations that support communications and assessments.
- Provide therapy as outlined in treatment plans and prescriptions.
- Offer treatments to help improve patients’ inabilities and/or challenges.
- Independently manage workflow, including allocating time for treatment and documenting individual treatments and notes in the electronic records system.
- Align therapy treatments and plans with an understanding of PDPM and Medicaid and Medicare billing.
