About The Position

Glen Cove Center for Nursing and Rehabilitation is hiring per diem Physical Therapists. The role includes evaluating and treating patients, completing required documentation, and collaborating with therapy teams. Therapists independently manage their workflow, including scheduling treatment time and documenting treatments and notes in the electronic records system. Treatments and plans should follow treatment plans and prescriptions and reflect an understanding of PDPM and Medicaid and Medicare billing.

Requirements

• New York PT License.
• Strong organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills.
• Ability to manage patients with different personalities and ability levels.
• Creative problem-solving skills.
• PT License.

Responsibilities

• Work collaboratively with all therapy teams.
• Complete evaluations and all necessary documentation.
• Provide recommendations that support communications and assessments.
• Provide therapy as outlined in treatment plans and prescriptions.
• Offer treatments to help improve patients’ inabilities and challenges.
• Independently manage workflow, including allotting time for treatment and documenting individual treatments and notes in the electronic records system.
• Align therapy treatments and plans with an understanding of PDPM and Medicaid and Medicare billing.
