Full-time Physical Therapist
About The Position
Functional Pathways is hiring a full-time Physical Therapist at Westminster Canterbury on Chesapeake Bay, a continuing care retirement community in Virginia Beach, Virginia. The therapist screens and evaluates patients, conducts re-evaluations, develops discharge plans, and revises established plans of care under physician supervision. The role includes a Monday–Friday schedule and one weekend-day rotation per month. A $7,500 sign-on bonus is offered to direct applicants only. The position is based at a community with waterfront views, beach access, and proximity to local cultural attractions. Requirements
- Bachelor’s, master’s, or doctorate degree in physical therapy from an accredited program.
- Active state physical therapy license and certification and licensure as required by state and national board associations.
- Complete all required screenings, certifications, and licensure requirements; screening requirements may vary by location.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Current working knowledge of Functional Pathways policies and procedures and clinical programs, with application skills relevant to therapy disciplines.
- Ability to supervise Physical Therapy Assistants.
