Physical Therapist- Outpatient
About The Position
Metro Physical & Aquatic Therapy is seeking a motivated, compassionate, and skilled full-time Physical Therapist to help patients reach their goals through personalized treatment plans. The position is based in clinics with a well-trained support staff and modern space and equipment. All experience levels are encouraged to apply, and Metro will train the right new graduate. The organization offers mentorship and leadership development programs, manageable caseloads that support individualized care, and opportunities for career growth across specialties and departments. Requirements
- Licensed Physical Therapist in New York or eligible for licensure.
- Ability to evaluate patients’ need for physical therapy and develop an appropriate treatment plan.
- Ability to provide care and treatment according to physician care plans, agency policy, and professional standards of care.
- Experience instructing family members, PTAs, Home Health Aides, and other caregivers in appropriate physical therapy techniques.
- Current First Aid, AED, and CPR certifications.
Responsibilities
- Evaluate patients’ need for physical therapy and develop appropriate treatment plans.
- Provide care and treatment based on physician care plans, agency policy, and professional standards of care.
- Instruct family members, PTAs, Home Health Aides, and other caregivers in appropriate physical therapy techniques.
