PRN Physical Therapist - Acute Care
About The Position
PT Solutions is hiring a PRN Physical Therapist to provide acute care rehabilitation services at Ascension St. Vincent Indianapolis in Indianapolis, Indiana. The role delivers evidence-based, quality care and develops timely treatment plans tailored to each patient's needs. The therapist works collaboratively with patients, families, clinicians, and hospital staff to support functional outcomes and build effective relationships throughout the hospital. The PRN schedule requires six weekend day shifts per quarter and one holiday per year. The holiday assignment includes the holiday and its related weekend, for a total of three shifts; major and minor holiday assignments alternate annually. The posted pay rates are $50 per hour on weekdays and $60 per hour on weekends.
Requirements
- Graduate of a CAPTE-approved physical therapy program.
- Current or pending state licensure.
- Basic Life Support certification.
Responsibilities
- Deliver evidence-based, quality care that empowers patients to exceed their functional outcomes.
- Establish timely treatment plans tailored to each patient's specific needs.
- Maintain positive connections with patients, patient families, fellow clinicians, and other hospital team members.
- Build and maintain relationships throughout the hospital, including with physicians, case management, and nurses.
