PRN Physical Therapist - Acute Care
About The Position
PT Solutions is hiring a PRN Physical Therapist to provide acute care at Ascension St. Vincent Indianapolis in Indianapolis, Indiana. The role delivers rehabilitation therapy services in a hospital setting and focuses on evidence-based, quality care that helps patients exceed their functional outcomes. The therapist will establish timely, individualized treatment plans and collaborate with patients, families, clinicians, and hospital staff. The PRN schedule requires six weekend day shifts per quarter and one holiday assignment per year. The holiday assignment includes the holiday and its related weekend, for a total of three shifts, and alternates annually between major and minor holidays. Weekday pay is $50 per hour and weekend pay is $60 per hour.
Requirements
- Graduate of a CAPTE-approved physical therapy program.
- Current or pending state licensure.
- Basic Life Support certification.
Responsibilities
- Deliver evidence-based, quality care to each patient, empowering them to exceed their functional outcomes.
- Establish timely treatment plans tailored to each patient's specific needs.
- Build positive connections with patients, patient families, fellow clinicians, and other hospital team members.
- Build and maintain relationships throughout the hospital, including with physicians, case management, and nurses.
