About The Position

Hayward Medical Center is seeking a Physical Therapist to join their growing and progressive Rehab Services team in the Greater Hayward area. The role involves direct patient care in a new outpatient rehab facility, with opportunities to pursue specialty interests and build relationships with other medical teams.

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapy program
• Licensed or eligible for licensure in Wisconsin as a Physical Therapist
• Current BLS/CPR Certification.
• Knowledge of physical medicine, physical therapy treatments, anatomy, and physiology

Responsibilities

• Responsible for evaluation, planning, directing and administering physical therapy treatments.
• Administers treatments and physical agents in an effort to restore function and prevent injury.
• Assists patients to reach their maximum performance and level of functioning, while learning to live within the limits of their capabilities.
• Coordinates, delegates, and supervises responsibilities assigned to supportive staff.
• Participates in operational aspects of the department.
• Ensures that patient charges and documentation are accurate and entered on a timely basis.
• Communicates appropriately and clearly to physicians, staff, and administrative team.
• Participation in all required departmental and organization educational programs.
