About The Position
Parkland Therapy Services with BJC is hiring a full-time Physical Therapist for its outpatient facility in Farmington, Missouri. The therapist will work with orthopedic, sports medicine, and neurologic patients and provide skilled physical therapy services, including evaluation and treatment. The position offers a choice of four 10-hour shifts or five 8-hour shifts, with two late days ending at 6 p.m. The role also includes an inpatient weekend rotation every 7–8 weeks and one holiday rotation. The Physical Therapy Department provides inpatient and outpatient treatment. Therapists and assistants work with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare providers to develop safe, personalized rehabilitation programs that help patients improve mobility and return to daily functional activities. Parkland Health Center serves St. Francois County and surrounding areas in southeastern Missouri through its Farmington hospital and Bonne Terre rural emergency hospital. BJC offers a sign-on bonus and a continuing education unit (CEU) budget for each therapist. Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Physical Therapy.
- Physical Therapist license.

- Master’s degree in Physical Therapy.
Responsibilities
- Establish treatment plans and provide treatment, considering discharge needs, expected discharge functional status, and appropriate equipment and supplies.
- Educate, collaborate with, and conference with patients, families, and other healthcare providers; recommend referrals to specialists as needed.
- Delegate to assistants, technicians, and students through written and verbal communication, including determining the skill level or competency needed to provide interventions that meet patient needs.
- Complete documentation in accordance with departmental policies.
- Provide assessment, reassessment, and/or consultations for Physical Therapy Services.
