About The Position

Theracare is hiring a Physical Therapist to provide home health care in Warsaw and possibly Columbia City, Indiana. The therapist evaluates and treats patients in accordance with physician orders, using therapeutic procedures to restore muscle strength, coordination, and body alignment, relieve pain, and improve movement and function. The Physical Therapist works as part of a team, providing support and information within the Physical Therapy discipline. The position offers access to regional management staff for support and flexible scheduling intended to support work/life balance. The role may be full-time or part-time.

Requirements

Bachelor of Science or an advanced degree in Physical Therapy.
Current state license or certification.
Current registration with the American Physical Therapy Certification Board.
Excellent oral and written communication and interpersonal skills.
Willingness to provide therapy services in locations including skilled nursing facilities, outpatient facilities, long-term care facilities, or home health care.
Competency in applying the principles, methods, materials, and equipment used in the Physical Therapy discipline.
Knowledge of accreditation standards and compliance requirements.

Nice To Haves

A minimum of one year of experience in rehabilitation is preferred.
