About The Position

Amedisys is hiring a part-time Physical Therapist serving Sussex County. The role helps patients maintain, restore, and improve movement, activity, and function in the home health setting. The therapist provides interventions, conducts reexaminations at least every 30 days, modifies interventions as needed, and performs discharge planning. Other duties may be assigned. Pay is $59.00–$74.00 per hour. Benefit eligibility may vary by position and shift status, and participation in some benefits requires enrollment in an Amedisys medical plan.

Requirements

Current license to practice physical therapy in the state where assigned to work.
Graduate of an accredited physical therapy educational program recognized by the Commission on Accreditation of Physical Therapy Education (CAPTE).
One year of related physical therapy experience for physical therapists entering home health care. Applicants with less than one year of experience require approval from regional clinical leaders and appropriate mentoring and/or participation in a residency program.
Current CPR certification.

Responsibilities
